Student Awards and Honors
Since 2010, our students and our School have won more than 500 national, state, and regional awards in areas across our curriculum.
For example, Milwaukee Montessori School was named one of 12 winners of the President’s prestigious National STEM Challenge in Game Design, an honor that included a trip to White House, and the National Association of Independent Schools named MMS a “School of the Future” for our far-reaching technology program.
MMS students have won the Martin Luther King Writing Contest two years in a row, as well as championships at Wisconsin State Track and Field meets.
Our School received the Education Challenge Grant and we were named a “Champion School” in the President’s National Physical Fitness Challenge.
While earning awards is not the goal of our program, it is a sign that our program is setting a very high bar for our students.
