MMS Admission Process
In order to ensure a good fit between MMS and each child, we ask that each family complete the following three steps in our admissions process. For additional information, please contact Cheryl Kelly, Director of Admission, at 414-259-0370 ext 106 or Admissions@Milwaukee-Montessori.org.
MMS uses an ongoing process throughout the academic year referred to as a rolling admission policy. If an application has been accepted but there are no spaces at that time, the application will be placed in our waiting pool until an opening becomes available. We strongly suggest families to apply 4-6 months in advance of their requested start date.

Step 1: Submit Application
Submit the Application for Admission along with the non-refundable fee of $40. Include copies of previous report cards or progress reports if applicable.
The application and supporting documentation will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee to determine whether the applicants should proceed to Step 2 of the admissions process or whether the applicant will be denied admission to the School. If admission to the School is denied at this step, the parents/guardians will be informed in writing.
Step 2: Parent Visit
The parents/guardians of those applicants whose application for admission is approved to continue in the admissions process will be contacted to schedule a parent visit. Visits (parents only) are scheduled Monday – Friday at 8:30 or 9:30. Please allow 45-55 minutes for this visit, and we strongly encourage both parents to attend. After the parent visit a decision will be made by the School whether or not the applicant will proceed to Step 3 of the admissions process. If admission is denied, parents/guardians will be informed in writing.
Step 3: Student Visit
A visit for your child to meet with a Directress or our Director of Admission will be scheduled. Our student visit schedule and activities vary depending on the child’s age level.
Notification of Admission Status
After Step 3, the parents/guardians will be notified with 3-5 business days of the decision of the Admission Committee regarding the child’s admission status.
