Comics have an artistic range spanning from philosophically sagacious to insanely silly. This class was intended to expose students to this medium as a means by which they could explore this unique potential and to find where their voice may lay in this broad spectrum.
In this summer program session, students created and designed in-depth characters and use advanced software to learn the basics of visual sequential storytelling to execute their very own original comic strip.
