We believe athletics are intrinsically valuable and transformative. In our supportive, highly academic community everybody gets a chance to participate and enjoy the game while competing to do their personal and team best.
The Milwaukee Montessori School Athletic Program Goals:
The MMS athletic program emphasizes skill building, games, and physical exercises designed to develop positive attitudes toward physical activity and sportsmanship, such as learning to play by the rules, always be honest, and show appreciation and respect for teammates, adversaries, coaches, and officials.
First through third grade students participate in fall flag football and spring soccer. Fourth through eighth grade students participate in a choice of cross country running, volleyball, basketball, and track and field to further their physical and athletic development and build constructive attitudes toward competition and cooperation.
Our sports programs are continously growing and improving. Learn more about the MMS sports program, practice times, registration fees, and uniforms. Contact Coach Julie Christensen with additional questions.
