Basketball

Boys and girls on the MMS Basketball teams will once again compete in the Beulah Brinton Community Center league, which starts on Saturday, December 3rd and is a 14-week season.  

*Games are played on Saturdays at the Beulah Brinton Community Center (2555 South Bay Street, Milwaukee, 53207)*

Winter Session

Basketball is offered to all girls and boys in 4th-8th grade.

Team Information

7th-8th Grade Team

• Practices will take place every Monday and Friday from 3:15-5:15 in the St. Therese Gym starting Monday, November 7th and ending Friday, March 2nd.
• The 7th-8th grade team will also play additional tournaments; however, these tournament games are limited to single sex teams.
• Games played at Beulah Brinton will take place on Saturdays anytime between 4:00pm and 7:00pm.
• The team will be coached by Travis Mather.

6th Grade Team

• Practices will take place at MMS from 3:15-5:15pm every Tuesday and Thursday starting Tuesday, November 8th. The last practice will be Thursday, March 1st.
• Games played at Beulah Brinton will take place on Saturdays between 1:00pm and 3:00pm.
• The 5th - 6th Grade Team will be coached by Roger Gonzalez and Ryan Oleson.

4th-5th Grade Team

• Practices will take place at MMS from 3:15-5:15pm every Wednesday and Thursday starting Wednesday, November 9th. The last practice will be Thursday, March 1st.
• Games played at Beulah Brinton will take place on Saturdays between 10:00am and 12:00pm.
• The 4th Grade Team will be coached by Roger Gonzalez.

Pick-up information

Parents will need to pick their children up their children from practices promptly between 5:15-5:30pm. Children not picked up by 5:30 will go to Jayhawks and all applicable fees will apply.

Fees

The cost for this 15-week season is $300 per player. Students already contracted for full-week/full-year afterschool childcare may enroll without cost.

Athletic wear/Uniforms

Students should wear appropriate athletic wear and shoes at all practices. All students must wear an MMS basketball uniform for games: red shorts and a numbered jersey. Uniform costs: MMS jersey and shorts $38, jersey only $20, shorts only $18.  All new players must purchase a uniform to play in games.
