Our First Steps and Stepping Stones programs for children ages 18 months - 2 years provide excellent preparation for the academic Montessori classrooms that begin at age 3. Lessons are given by our enthusiastic, skilled faculty, and the program is scheduled from 6:45am until 6:00pm allowing you to drop off and pick up your toddler according to your schedule. Children in our toddler programs enjoy art, music, dance, simple science, language arts, sand and water play, rocking-chair time, as well as plenty of time outdoors. Students are encouraged to become independent as we teach them to clean up their spaces, put away their lunchboxes, button their coats, and put on their mittens and boots, all in an environment that is safe, secure, and welcoming. Because of the high demand, parents are encouraged to pursue admission six months before their desired starting date. Children are admitted on a year-round basis as openings occur.
