Alesa Weiss came to Milwaukee Montessori School in the summer of 2015 to take on the role of Front Desk/Development Assistant. In May of 2016, she was promoted to the Director of Development position. Originally hailing from Tulsa, OK, Alesa has lived in Milwaukee for the past decade. For most of her professional career, she worked at the YMCA managing the Day Camp Program Business Office. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Community Education & Engagement from UW-Milwaukee.
The thing that drew Alesa to the school was the unique and exciting way Milwaukee Montessori School approaches learning. She loves being a part of the MMS community and is grateful for the relationships she has built with the families here. She feels privileged to do the work she does with and for your students - it doesn't feel like work to her! In her life outside of MMS, Alesa loves spending time with her husband and dog, doing escape rooms, and loving her son (MMS class of '33!).
