She has been married to her husband since 1975, after both having met in the Milwaukee area.

They have three children who all live in the local area. Beth and her husband love to travel and have spent time traveling in Egypt, other parts of the Middle East, Europe, China, Canada, and Mexico. While in Cairo, Egypt, Beth played basketball with members of the Egyptian Olympic Team, which was a treat because of her love of sports. Even though she has explored all 50 of the United States, she would like to continue traveling in the United States in the future. In her spare time, she loves to pursue her love of reading and enjoys many different genres of literature, mostly fiction. She also enjoys many types of music and has enjoyed singing in college choirs, church choirs, and Sweet Adelines, a ladies' barbershop group.
