Beth Schulz joined the MMS faculty in 2014 as a Lower Elementary Assistant Teacher and now works as a substitute teacher. Previously she has taught a 3rd and 4th-grade combination classroom and before that, a 4th-grade classroom at Risen Savior Lutheran School. She has also taught 2nd to 8th-grade students at a small Lutheran school in St. Peter, MN. Beth attended Concordia, University in Illinois and is certified for both elementary and secondary teaching. She has been married to her husband since 1975, after both having met in the Milwaukee area.
They have three children who all live in the local area. Beth and her husband love to travel and have spent time traveling in Egypt, other parts of the Middle East, Europe, China, Canada, and Mexico. While in Cairo, Egypt, Beth played basketball with members of the Egyptian Olympic Team, which was a treat because of her love of sports. Even though she has explored all 50 of the United States, she would like to continue traveling in the United States in the future. In her spare time, she loves to pursue her love of reading and enjoys many different genres of literature, mostly fiction. She also enjoys many types of music and has enjoyed singing in college choirs, church choirs, and Sweet Adelines, a ladies' barbershop group.
