Blair Hatchett recently joined the MMS faculty as a Toddler Teacher working in the Toddler I program. She grew up in Milwaukee, WI with her mother and five sisters. During her teenage years, she discovered her passion for children when she found herself always wanting to babysit toddlers. Studying through the Early Childhood Education Program at MATC; Blair gained knowledge in this field that would become more than a job, but a passion. For the past eight years, she's been privileged to work with children 12 months to 13 years of age through programs such as SPARK, ACE, and Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee CLC (Community Learning Centers.)
Blair says, "My favorite part of my job is seeing the moments where a child catches on to what's being taught, whether it's a toddler learning how to hold a spoon or a youth learning how to read." Seeing other's grow and come into their own motivates Blair on a daily basis. She loves to read and share her knowledge with others. She's excited to bring her love for literacy to the MMS team.
