Carina Pabon joined the MMS team in December of 2016 as our new Front Desk Administrative Assistant. Her passion for working with families brought her here. You may see her welcoming parents and students, documenting attendance, and assisting the administrative team. Carina studied Art Therapy at Alverno College and will be finishing her degree in Psychology and Behavioral Science at Mt. Mary University.
Before she joined the MMS team she was the Director of Activities at Villa St. Francis, an assisted living community. There she coordinated daily activities for residents such as exercise classes, intergenerational programs, art classes, and music therapy programs. Before that, she was the Office Coordinator at Stress Management and Mental Health Clinics. While there, she managed the intake process, assisted in the billing department, and most importantly she helped pair patients with the appropriate mental health professional. Carina currently also works at St. Paul Veterinary Clinic, as a receptionist and a veterinary technician. Over the eleven years of her employment, she has rescued over a dozen American Pit bull terriers and re-homed them in forever homes.
Carina enjoys spending time with her family, her boyfriend Daniel, and the new addition this August, baby Ezra. She loves creating artwork for her home and visiting assisted living communities with her American Pit Bull Terrier therapy dog, Nala. Carina also previously volunteered at the United Community Center in Milwaukee coaching girls’ volleyball and boys’ basketball.
