In the fall of 2014, Jamie Ault became a member of the MMS faculty as an assistant teacher in Lower Elementary and now works in Upper Elementary as a science and history teacher. She earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Waynesburg University, in Waynesburg, PA.
Since graduating, Jamie has held a wide range of positions in non-traditional education and the non-profit sector. Her prior educational experience includes teaching environmental science in nature centers, camp settings, and afterschool programs in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan. She spent two years teaching conversational English (ESL) and organizing educational and cultural events in Policka, Czech Republic. Her non-profit experience includes work as an AmeriCorpVISTA in Erie, PA, and administrative work for Growing Power Inc and Global Youth Leadership Institute in Milwaukee, WI. Since joining MMS, Jamie completed the NAMTA/AMI Montessori Orientation to Adolescent Studies.
In her free time, Jamie enjoys cycling, hiking, gardening, exploring different art mediums, and spending time with her husband, two daughters, and cat.
