Summer Program

Summer Calendars

Our summer program classes are designed to give enthusiastic learners the opportunity to explore new intellectual territory or deepen their knowledge in subjects they already love. This summer, we are proud to offer classes that pique students interests and curiosity while engaging them in the areas of studio art, S.T.E.M., culinary art, and life skills.

We offer Montessori Classroom Instruction in the summer for children K3 - 3rd grade. Throughout the summer, this program will help sustain the growth and knowledge your child has gained during the academic year. He or she will be ready for the next academic year with no "catch-up" time needed to get back in the academic groove.

We believe every child has creative talent to be explored and encouraged! In our summer program session, courses in musical theater, set and stage design, studio painting, ceramics, learning to play an instrument and a wide range of other performing and studio arts classes to satisfy every creative mind. Our outstanding faculty of professional directors, dancers, musicians, and artists provides unrivaled instruction to students at all levels.

Our summer afternoon program gives students the opportunity to extend their experiences far beyond the classroom. Every afternoon, we take students all around the greater Milwaukee area to swim in the cool waters of local swimming pools and beaches, visit museums, or explore nature in conservation areas. We might play mini golf, go bowling, or just spend a sunny afternoon enjoying a playground.  With so many things to do and places to explore, we expand our student’s horizons with a spirit of adventure and camaraderie.

 How do I register?

We accept registrations online. All registrations are processed on a first-come/first served basis, so please register as early as possible, as space fills quickly.

Will I receive a confirmation of my registration?

If you register online you will receive an immediate notification. All registrants will receive a final confirmation with your first invoice in April. Your registration is not confirmed until deposit and full payments are made by the due date.

Is there a wait list for classes that are full?

Wait lists are established for classes that have reached the enrollment limit. Students on wait lists may be called for the opportunity to enroll should a cancellation occur. While we cannot predict when or if a cancellation would occur, we encourage you to add yourself to our wait lists, which will appear as an option in the online registration once a class is full.

What do my enrollment fees include and when is it due?

Your enrollment fees include all materials used in class, unless otherwise noted, and one MMS t-shirt. Any remaining balances will be invoiced by our Business Office the day of your registration with any deposit adjusted for. If the balance is not received by the date stated, we will not be able to hold your placement in class selections and the seat may be given to the next student on the wait list.

Can my child switch a class?

If you discover a scheduling conflict and need to switch their course selections, please fill out our Drop/Add Form online. If your child needs to register for Child Care, please fill out our Drop In Care Form and bring it to the MMS Front Desk.

 Do you offer refunds?

Our business office, depending on decreased or increased enrollment levels, will assess reimbursements or charges. There is a $25 administrative fee for all refunds and program changes made to your contract after it has been signed and submitted to MMS that result in decreased program use. The deposit paid will be forfeited if a student cancels his/her attendance in the summer program.

 Are classes ever cancelled?

MMS reserves the right to close the Summer Program on days ONLY when the school determines, in its sole discretion, that the health, welfare, or safety of the students and faculty requires such a closure. In the extremely rare event of such a closure, there will not be any refund of tuition and/or childcare costs.

What if my child needs to miss a class?

If your student is unable to attend a day(s) of class, please contact MMS if you know in advance that your student will be absent. We do not offer make-up days or refunds for missed class sessions.
