Joe St. Louis joined Milwaukee Montessori School in April 2025 as our Front Desk Receptionist. He earned a double major in Game Development and Computer Science from UW-Whitewater in May 2024, where he was actively involved in leadership roles within the Game Development student organization.
Passionate about community engagement, he also coordinated a volunteer student group that organized activities—such as bingo, card-making, and games—with residents at a local nursing home.
With experience in both freelance video game development and team-based projects, Joe was part of a team that released a game to Steam (a digital storefront) and is currently partnering with a non-profit to develop a story-driven game aimed at teaching kids about the effects of drug use and making smart, healthy choices in life.
At MMS, Joe enjoys meeting families, interacting with students who stop by the Front Desk, and being part of a welcoming and supportive staff. In his free time, he continues developing games, playing video games, and staying active through basketball and soccer. He also loves spending time with friends and family, especially over frozen yogurt. A self-proclaimed “dog guy,” Joe shares his home with two pups: Duff, the Boston Terrier, and Baby, the Chihuahua.
